Ben Avery Shooting Facility Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1957, the Ben Avery Shooting Facility (BASF), formerly the Black Canyon Shooting Range, is one of the largest publicly operated shooting facilities in the country.
Our world-class shooting range is a City of Phoenix Point of Pride. It has received a Five Star rating from the National Association of Shooting Ranges. This means that it is the best of the best at providing a quality recreation experience and is the first government facility to receive this designation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rifle & pistol range fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Main Range for Rifle & Pistol<\/strong>
$7 per adult 18+ for 1.5 hours
Children 5-17 shoot free with a paying adult
Limit of 4 shooters, including children, per table
You can shoot pistol, rifle and shotgun on this range
Target holders are in yards located at 5, 10, 15, 25, 50 & 100
Certain tables have an additional target holder at 200 yards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These ranges are rifle only ranges (pistols and shotguns are prohibited on the following ranges):<\/strong>
300 yard range<\/strong>
$10 per adult for 1.45 hours, Sat & Sun only
Target holders are at 100, 200 & 300 Yards
Children 5-17 shoot free with a paying adult
Limit of 4 shooters, including children, per table

Frank DeSomma Memorial Range<\/strong>
This is a rifle only range
$12 per adult for 1.5 hours
Children 5-17 shoot free with a paying adult

Clay target center fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Trap and Skeet<\/strong>
$7 for 25 clays<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wobble Trap, 5-Stand and International Skeet<\/strong>
$7.50 for 25 clays<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sporting Clays<\/strong>
$10 for 25 clays
$20 for 50 clays
$35 for 100 clays<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bunker Trap<\/strong>
$8 for 25 clays<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammunition
<\/strong>We offer 12, 20, 28 and .410 gauge ammunition, price depends on gauge and specialty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ear Protection
<\/strong>50 cents <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eye Protection<\/strong> – $2.50<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gun Buggy Rental<\/strong> – $5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discount\/ Gold Card<\/strong>
Buy your own card for $15 and load it with a minimum of $100 (1st time purchase = $115) and get a discounted rate of trap, skeet, and sporting clay targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rental Guns<\/strong>
$15 per day for 20 gauge or 12 gauge semi-auto Benellis or Berettas (only ammunition purchased at the Clay Target Center may be used in rental shotguns).
A Government Issued ID and Credit Card(no Debit, no AMEX) must be held at The Front Counter in exchange for the firearm and other rental equipment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clay Target Center camping<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

All confirmed camping requests will require a non-refundable deposit equal to one night stay.<\/em>
Daily <\/strong>Campsite Fee $35 w\/Utilities \u2013 Full hook-ups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekly <\/strong>Campsite Fee $180 w\/Utilities \u2013 Full hook-ups, for up to 2 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extended stay <\/strong>Campsite Fee $120 per each week (after approval) w\/Utilities \u2013 Full hook-ups. An additional range use purchase may be required. <\/em>Length of stay cannot exceed 168 days in a calendar year.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
